meet the team
In line with our commitment to equip and release every individual church member into their God-given potential and roles, many different people serve in one leadership capacity or another:
Our overall Church Leader / Senior Pastor is Rod Stone.
Rod is a Southampton University Law Graduate who was a partner in a firm of solicitors before entering into full-time church leadership in 1994. He is married to Mandy and they have 4 children. Rod oversaw the planting of icc in January 2005 and currently has overall responsibility for the direction and operation of the church.
The vision is progressively to develop a central church leadership team. In the meantime, Rod is supported and assisted by various individuals, groups and teams, including the following (all groups being informal, flexible and fluid):
- prophetic prayer hub
- strategic development group
- preaching, teaching & training group
- admin / financial management team - headed up by icc's Board of Directors / Charity Trustees - with Brian Freed as treasurer and Lynne Preece handling general day-to-day admin
- pastoral group - which includes all of our community group leaders.
- outreach group
- music team - led and co-ordinated by Michael Redmon
- youthwork & children's work teams
- arts & publicity group
